Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (Cath Lab) Nurse
$42.50 to $54.62/hr + super + NFP salary packaging

A leading not-for-profit hospital group in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Cath Lab Nurse to join a busy 14-theatre complex equipped for surgical, cardiac and robotic-assisted procedures. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a nurse with at least 3 years' cardiac catheter laboratory experience.
About the Role
- Provide nursing care across a busy cardiac catheter laboratory caseload, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor and support patients throughout catheter laboratory procedures, working closely with cardiologists
- Prepare and manage catheter laboratory equipment, drugs and monitoring
- Work within a multidisciplinary theatre team supporting cardiac and cardiothoracic procedures
- Participate in the standard theatre roster, with flexibility required across all shifts including weekends
- Shift and weekend penalties paid on top of base rate for eligible staff
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a cardiac catheter laboratory (not open to new graduates)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated cath lab nursing competency across diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Willingness and ability to work the full theatre roster, including weekends and all shifts
- Current National Police Check, or ability to obtain and maintain one
- Full Australian working rights required
